The Russian Zenit football club is ready to sell Brazilian midfielder Markus Vendel. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The club plans to earn at least 17 million euros from the player, and ideally, the price could reach 20 million euros. This amount includes various bonuses, so the initial price may be slightly lower.
The 27-year-old Brazilian player missed almost all of the team's training sessions and recently arrived in St. Petersburg. So far, there is no information about any penalties being imposed on Vendel.
Earlier, Botafogo and Flamengo showed interest in him, but currently, Palmeiras is considered the main candidate. The club intends to use the funds obtained from the sale of the player to strengthen further.
