Ancelotti: "Only the president can make me leave 'Real'"
The head coach of Madrid's “Real” club, Carlo Ancelotti, shared his thoughts about his future. According to the Italian specialist, his staying or leaving the team depends solely on the management's decision. “I will never leave by my own will – it will only be the president's decision. Sooner or later, this will happen,” Ancelotti said in a podcast with Italian actor Giacomo Poretti.
The 65-year-old specialist's contract with “Real” lasts until the summer of 2026. Nevertheless, there are reports in the media that Xabi Alonso's candidacy is being considered as his replacement. Currently, Alonso is managing Germany's “Bayer” club and achieving excellent results.
After the 26th round of La Liga, “Real” is in third place in the league table with 54 points.
