Due to Meta company's automated systems, many users on Instagram and Facebook networks are being unfairly blocked. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
As a result of this situation, people are losing the income they earned through their photos, memories, and pages accumulated over the years. Some have lost their clients, while others have permanently lost important moments in their personal lives.
The worst part is that innocent people are becoming afraid of police investigations and falling into depression. For example, Yasmine from the Netherlands ran her family business on Instagram for five years, but suddenly her page was closed, and she lost more than 5,000 clients.
Lucy from Texas was blocked for two weeks without any reason given. Ryan, a former teacher from Britain, has also been unfairly blocked several times.
Instagram acknowledged that an error occurred and sent a message saying, "you have not violated any rules," yet his page has not been restored. Ryan is worried about being isolated from society and being viewed as a criminal.
Experts emphasize that Meta company relies excessively on artificial intelligence systems. Because the human factor is not taken into account, wrongful blocks continue.
This situation causes great harm to ordinary people's lives and unjustly turns innocent people into "criminals." Therefore, there is a need to strengthen human oversight in the systems and make fair decisions.
