Apple has expanded the production of new iPhone models intended for the US market at five factories in India. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Among these factories are recently launched enterprises. According to Bloomberg, all variants of the iPhone 17 model, expected to be unveiled next month, will be manufactured in India for the first time.
Tata Group companies are expected to hold up to half of the country's iPhone production volume within two years. Additionally, Apple has significantly increased its export volume from India to the US.
From April to July of this year, iPhone products worth 7.5 billion dollars were exported. The company also plans to start manufacturing the iPhone 18 model in India in the near future.
This step is of great importance for Apple to expand its production network and reduce costs. India, meanwhile, aims to become one of the global players in the production of technological products.
Thus, the cooperation between Apple and India is strengthening further and is having a significant impact on the country's economy.
