Technology15:30, 23-08-2025

US President Donald Trump made a statement on Friday regarding the situation surrounding the TikTok app. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to him, American buyers are showing interest in purchasing TikTok. Additionally, the possibility of extending the deadline for ByteDance to sell its assets is being considered.

Trump emphasized that there is no need for excessive concern about the security of TikTok users' personal data. So far, he has not discussed this issue with Chinese leader Xi Jinping, but he stated that discussions are planned at an important time.

Interestingly, amid ongoing uncertainties related to TikTok, the White House created its official TikTok account. This move sparked various opinions and debates among the public.

This situation has further intensified questions about TikTok's position in the US and its future. The outcome of the President's statement and the White House's new steps will become clear in the coming days.
