An important decision has been made in Uzbekistan to fundamentally reform the football sector and develop it based on digital technologies. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to information announced by the Ministry of Justice, it is planned to create a "National Football Electronic Platform" in the country. Among the main tasks of this platform are adapting the material and technical base to international standards, constructing new football fields, and increasing the number of young people regularly engaged in sports.
The new system will enable the digitization of processes for identifying talented youth and training them as professional football players. Starting from January 1, 2026, training sessions at football academies and schools will be monitored online.
Additionally, the health status, physical indicators, and selection processes of football players will be electronically monitored. This will allow for early identification of young athletes and continuous monitoring of their development.
Moreover, from March 1, 2026, the procedure for purchasing tickets to football matches will also change. The ticket acquisition process will be carried out through the new information system using identity verification and QR-code technologies.
Officials emphasize that this system will not only ensure transparency and security but also create convenience for fans. According to experts, the "National Football Electronic Platform" will establish modern management in the football sector and take Uzbek football to a new level.
From now on, the activities of every football player and team will be transparently monitored, statistical data will be collected and analyzed in real time. At the same time, this initiative will mark the beginning of a new era in the country's football.
