A group of writers in the United States has filed a lawsuit against Apple. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to them, Apple used their books and works to train artificial intelligence without the authors' permission. In the lawsuit, writers Grady Hendrix and Jennifer Roberson stated that their creative works were used illegally by Apple.
They emphasize that the company did not obtain any permission nor pay any compensation. Similar claims have also been directed at other major technology companies.
Among them, companies such as Microsoft, Meta, and OpenAI are also accused of copyright infringement and are involved in legal proceedings. Experts believe that this process is an important step in protecting copyright.
With the rapid development of artificial intelligence, the issue of copyright has become even more relevant. Therefore, fair agreements between technology companies and authors are necessary.
This serves to protect the rights of creators and to develop new technologies within the framework of the law.
