Internet users in Uzbekistan reached 94 percent
According to data from the National Statistics Committee, 94.2 percent of Uzbekistan's population used the internet from January to August 2025. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

In recent years, the number of internet users in the country has been steadily increasing. For example, this figure was 76.6 percent in 2021 and rose to 83.9 percent in 2022.

In 2023, the internet usage rate increased to 89 percent, and in 2024 it rose to 93.3 percent. In the first eight months of the current year, this figure reached 94.2 percent.

According to officials, the widespread use of the internet is further expanding opportunities in digital services, education, healthcare, and entrepreneurship. This contributes to the development of digital infrastructure in the country and improves the quality of life for the population.

The increase in internet usage creates new opportunities in social and economic sectors. Additionally, this process helps to more broadly implement digital technologies and ensure free access to information among the population.

As a result, the people of Uzbekistan are achieving an improved standard of living through active use of modern technologies.
