The Tashkent City Internal Affairs Department has warned about a new type of fraud carried out using artificial intelligence. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to the information, fraudsters are altering the faces of famous individuals using artificial intelligence technology and spreading false messages about donations or cash rewards being given to citizens. These messages are sent along with special links.

When citizens click on the link, their personal information may be stolen and money withdrawn from their bank cards. Even if there are currently no funds on the card, there is a risk that future incoming funds will be automatically withdrawn.

Therefore, citizens who encounter such situations are asked to contact the number 102. The internal affairs authorities recommend taking precautionary measures against such fraud and remind not to disclose personal information to anyone.

This warning is aimed at ensuring the financial security of citizens.
