Apple is trying not to change the price of the iPhone 18 Pro

While prices are rising in the smartphone market, Apple is striving to keep its new generation devices at current prices. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to supply chain analyses in the media, this concerns the iPhone 18 Pro model. In conditions of RAM shortages and rising component costs, the company is strictly controlling its internal calculations to avoid price increases.
The biggest issue in this situation is related to memory components. According to analyses, Apple is negotiating with suppliers like Samsung and SK hynix to reduce prices or at least slow down the increase.
Apple is also considering taking on the costs itself, planning to ease expenses through revenue from services. Current prices in the "Pro" segment also reflect this struggle.
For example, the iPhone 17 Pro starts at $1,099 in the US, and there is information about increased memory capacity. Therefore, maintaining prices at this level in the next generation is seen not as marketing but as a real strategy.
Competition is strong, and buyers are tired of taking new loans for a new model. Interestingly, the company is looking for ways to reduce costs not only for RAM but also for other expensive components, particularly display and camera expenses.
If this plan succeeds, prices in high-end segments like the iPhone 17 Pro Max could also soften somewhat. In conclusion, despite ongoing shortages and price increases in the market, Apple's goal is to keep the "Pro" model at its price without making it too expensive.
In the future, this depends on the supply chain and decisions made in spring and summer: whoever offers more concessions will win.
