WhatsApp has introduced a special mode for children under 10.

WhatsApp messenger has introduced a special mode for children under the age of ten. Zamin.uz reported on this news.
Based on this update, parents will have the ability to fully manage and monitor their children's accounts. Children can chat and make calls with their contacts, but all processes will take place within the rules set by parents.
Renowned technology publications have reported on this matter. To create an account, parents and children must use their devices to scan a special code.
To protect settings, a six-digit special passcode is set. Parents must clearly specify who their child can communicate with.
If a child adds a new contact, blocks someone, or files a complaint, parents will receive an immediate notification. Additionally, actions such as changing the profile picture or joining groups can also be monitored.
In this special mode, no advertisements are shown to children. Features such as channels and status updates created based on artificial intelligence will be blocked.
Children cannot enable disappearing messages in chats, but all communications remain encrypted with maximum security methods. Messages from unknown people go into a separate folder, and opening it requires the parent's special passcode.
Images from strangers will appear blurred. It is reported that when a child reaches the permitted age, their account can be switched to regular mode.
Parents have the option to delay this change for up to one year. The update has currently been launched in selected countries and will be expanded to other regions in the coming months.
These measures align with parents' desire to create a safer environment for their children and efforts worldwide to protect young people on the internet.
