Windows 11 updates can now be postponed indefinitely

Microsoft Corporation has officially announced significant changes to the update mechanism of the Windows 11 operating system. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Users will now have the ability to postpone system updates an unlimited number of times. According to the previous rules, the software update process could be paused for a maximum of 35 days.
In the new system, the option to extend this period repeatedly as many times as needed has been introduced. This information has been confirmed by leading technology publications.
According to company representative Aria Hanson, through the updated calendar interface, users will be able to independently select a specific date within 35 days. If the set time proves insufficient, the pause period can be reactivated after it expires.
This new feature is designed to prevent unexpected computer updates and avoid disruption to the work process. Another important change is related to the computer shutdown and restart menu.
Previously, if an update package had been downloaded, the system forced the user to install programs through commands such as "update and shut down". Now, Microsoft Corporation promises to restore the standard shutdown and restart buttons to their original places.
This will allow users to shut down the device without updating the system. Additionally, the names of device drivers will clearly indicate which component they relate to, for example, the screen, audio system, or power source.
Company specialists plan to deliver updates in a grouped manner over the course of a month rather than scattered. Although the new rules grant users greater freedom, developers remind that regular updates are critically important for the security and stable operation of the system.
Therefore, users are advised not to postpone important security measures for an extended period. These changes serve to create convenience for Windows users and increase control over the system.
