Manna Aero delivers products via drones in the US market

Irish startup Manna Aero has announced an ambitious expansion strategy aimed at strengthening its position in the United States market, as reported by Zamin.uz.
The company, which specializes in drone-based delivery of goods using remotely piloted unmanned aerial vehicles, plans to compete with tech giants such as Amazon and Google in the coming years. This move reflects the growing integration of automated systems in the logistics sector.
According to industry sources, Manna Aero’s founder and CEO, Bobby Healy, stated that the company is establishing a major operational and production center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The project is expected to create nearly a thousand new jobs over the next few years. Construction of the facility has already begun, with full-scale production anticipated to launch within approximately one year.
Manna Aero’s leadership emphasized several key factors behind its decision to target the U.S. market. First, the country’s consumer culture and well-established food delivery infrastructure create a favorable environment for startups.
As Bobby Healy noted, the U.S. currently represents the most attractive and largest demand market in the world. The company raised $50 million in funding last April.
A significant portion of this investment will be directed toward developing infrastructure in the United States. Manna Aero is also evaluating opportunities to launch operations in six additional cities beyond Tulsa.
According to the rollout plan, the company aims to enter all of these cities by the end of 2027. Manna’s drones operate using a unique mechanism that allows them to provide service without landing.
Instead, the devices hover in the air and lower delivery packages via a specialized winch, ensuring both safety and faster delivery times.
It is worth noting that the company was forced to suspend its drone delivery service in its home country, Ireland, due to complex regulatory restrictions in Europe and the lack of a legal framework necessary for expansion.
In contrast, the policies being pursued by U.S. aviation authorities are providing strong support for the growth of the drone industry. Manna Aero describes its business model as “delivery as a service.”
While the company has partnered with major platforms in Europe, in the United States it plans to pursue both partnerships and direct customer service through its own proprietary application. This approach offers the startup flexibility to adapt to market conditions and expand its customer base.
Currently, Manna Aero is actively working to further refine its technologies and gain a competitive edge in the U.S. market.
