A new button phone will be released under the legendary Nokia brand

While HMD Global is changing its brand strategy, it has become known that the company does not intend to completely leave the market for feature phones under the legendary Nokia brand. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The first images and technical specifications of the Nokia 102 4G model, expected to go on sale in 2026, have leaked online. This device is expected to stand out for its affordable price and classic design.

International technology publications are reporting this news. According to information from reliable sources, the new Nokia 102 4G model is primarily intended for the Chinese market.

The most notable point is that the device will be released under the Nokia brand specifically, rather than HMD. This means the return of the classic logo and familiar styles for the brand's loyal fans.

The approximate price of the device is said to be around twenty US dollars, which will make it one of the cheapest communication tools in the modern market. Regarding changes in design and appearance, the new device will have a significantly updated look compared to previous models.

The manufacturer has abandoned unnecessary inscriptions on the central button, emphasizing a simple and clear appearance. The phone is expected to be presented in two colors: dark blue and bright flame-red bodies.

This will allow users to choose a color that suits their taste. Technically, the Nokia 102 4G remains faithful to the principles of simplicity and durability.

The device will be equipped with a 1.8-inch color display, a small camera for daily needs, and a sufficient amount of memory. Additionally, a 1200 mAh battery will ensure the phone holds its charge for a long time.

The device will also have wireless connectivity and a special jack for headphones. Most importantly, the phone body is protected against dust and water splashes, which extends its service life.

Nokia feature phones still maintain their position in the Uzbekistan market. Due to the low price and long-lasting battery, such models are often purchased as work phones or as reliable tools in areas with poor signal quality.

The appearance of the new model will certainly intensify competition in this segment. It is also worth mentioning that the company plans to introduce other categories of devices in the future, although they may be sold under a new brand.
