How many days do people in Uzbekistan take off for the Navruz holiday?

In Uzbekistan, employees who work 5 days a week will have a consecutive 3-day holiday for Navruz on March 21, 22, and 23. Employees who work 6 days will return to work as usual on Saturday, March 22.
This situation is determined based on the 2025 work schedule approved by the Ministry of Poverty and Employment. According to Article 208 of the Labor Code, if a day off coincides with a non-working holiday, it is moved to the next working day after the holiday.
Days off:
March 21 (Friday) — Navruz holiday;
March 22 (Saturday) — day off only for employees with a 5-day work week;
March 23 (Sunday) — general day off.
Those who work 6 days will only rest on March 21 and 23, continuing their work on Saturday, March 22.
Additionally, on March 8 — International Women's Day, employees who work a 5-day week will also have a 3-day holiday on March 8, 9, and 10, while those who work 6 days will return to work on March 10.
