Three non-working holiday days are waiting for Uzbeks in March. These are:

March 8 – International Women's Day;
March 21 – Navruz;
March 31 (tentative) – Eid al-Fitr.

March 10, Monday, will be an additional day off for those with a 5-day work week. According to Article 208 of the Labor Code, if holiday days coincide with days off, then the day off is moved to the next working day after the holiday.

Since March 8, International Women's Day, falls on a Saturday, this day off for 5-day workers will be moved to March 10, Monday.

Thus, for 5-day workers, there will be 3 consecutive days off from March 8 to March 10:

For 6-day workers, only March 8 (Saturday) will be a day off, but March 10 (Monday) will be a working day.

According to the employment ministry's work schedule calendar for 2025, no additional days off are planned for March this year.

For your information, the document regarding the designation of additional non-working days and the transfer of days off during the annual celebration of official dates has not been adopted for 2025.

There is a possibility that the relevant documents regarding the celebration of Navruz or Eid may change the working or holiday days in March.
