In Tashkent city, the activities of 59 construction sites with incomplete documentation have been halted. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Recently, it has been identified that some construction organizations are carrying out construction work without permits, expert conclusions, technical and project documents, in violation of existing laws and regulations. According to the city administration's press service, as a result of such cases, many citizens have suffered financial losses and have been left without housing by trusting fraudulent builders.
For this reason, the electricity supply of the objects with incomplete documentation has been cut off, and construction work has been stopped. These objects are distributed across the districts as follows: Olmazor — 5, Chilonzor — 5, Mirobod — 8, Mirzo Ulug‘bek — 7, Sergeli — 3, Uchtepa — 2, Yakkasaroy — 2, Yangihayot — 17, Yashnobod — 3, Yunusobod — 4, and Bektemir — 3.
Currently, inspections and monitoring activities are ongoing at these sites. The administration emphasized that legal measures will be taken against each violation.
Citizens are advised to carefully check the original documents related to real estate, including the cadastral passport, expert conclusions, technical reports, and council decisions when purchasing a home. Additionally, funds should only be paid through official and legal channels.
If the construction company is delaying the provision of documents, it is recommended to contact the official sources of the Tashkent city administration. The administration states that it will take strict measures against all identified violations in the construction sector and continue its uncompromising policy in protecting citizens' interests (source: zamin.uz).
