In Uzbekistan, an important legislative change has been made to ensure road traffic safety and to take into account the legitimate objections of drivers. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the new rules approved by the Senate, fines for violations detected by radar and photo-video recording devices can now only be applied within one month. Previously, the period for imposing such fines could be extended up to one year.
This caused dissatisfaction and various problems among drivers. With the new law, this period has been drastically shortened to one month.
Senators emphasize that this reform serves to strengthen drivers' trust. Additionally, the new legislation introduces a procedure for issuing administrative warnings instead of fines for less serious traffic rule violations.
This measure not only ensures justice but also helps increase drivers' responsibility. This legislative change is aimed at creating convenience for drivers, increasing transparency and trust in the system, and plays an important role in strengthening order and discipline on the roads.
