
Today, on October 14, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, held an important telephone conversation with the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
During the conversation, the two heads of state discussed further strengthening strategic partnership and alliance relations, as well as expanding areas of practical cooperation. The presidents emphasized the necessity of consistently implementing mutual agreements and noted that relations between the two countries are increasingly moving towards a practical direction.
It was especially highlighted that cooperation indicators in trade, industry, agriculture, and energy sectors are steadily growing. Additionally, issues of supporting joint projects at the regional level, creating new investment opportunities, and improving logistics infrastructure were discussed.
Cooperation in the humanitarian sphere, particularly in culture, art, and education, was positively assessed as these ties continue to strengthen. The presidents highly appreciated the ongoing work on training engineering personnel, exchanging scientific experience, and expanding educational opportunities for students of both countries.
Furthermore, the plan for joint events to be held in the near future was reviewed. At the end of the conversation, Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Vladimir Putin expressed their readiness to deepen strategic cooperation further, relying on mutual trust and friendly relations.
