The number of preschool education institutions in Uzbekistan has increased
By the end of 2024, a total of 38,058 preschool education institutions were operating in Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The majority of them, namely 28,729, consist of family-based non-governmental preschool education institutions. This indicates that the private sector plays an important role in covering children with preschool education.

Over the past year, the number of preschool education institutions in the country has increased by 2,085. This, in turn, reflects the growing need to provide children with quality education from an early age.

Analyzing by regions, Samarkand region leads with 4,507 preschool education institutions. Additionally, Andijan, Kashkadarya, and Fergana regions also rank high in terms of active institutions, each with nearly 4,000.

The fewest preschool education institutions are located in Sirdaryo region (1,145) and Tashkent city (1,047). Overall, consistent efforts are being made across the country to expand the activities of preschool education institutions and improve their quality.
