
An important ceremony aimed at further strengthening friendship among brotherly countries took place at the Koksaroy residence. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
During the event, the President of Kazakhstan, Qosim-Jo‘mart To‘qayev, was awarded one of Uzbekistan’s highest honors — the “Order of High-Level Friendship.” This award was presented in recognition of To‘qayev’s personal contribution to strengthening friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
At the ceremony, the head of state touched upon issues of friendship, neighborhood, and strategic partnership that bind the two countries, emphasizing that in recent years these relations have entered a new phase. The development of bilateral cooperation, the increase in trade volume, and major projects being implemented in various fields demonstrate that these ties yield practical results.
Additionally, active dialogue between parliaments, governments, regions, and business circles, youth exchanges, and cultural-humanitarian programs were noted as factors bringing the two states closer together. These processes play an important role in strengthening friendship among the peoples.
Qosim-Jo‘mart To‘qayev was also recognized for his efforts to ensure peace and stability on an international scale and to develop regional solidarity. His initiatives serve not only to strengthen reliable ties between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan but also throughout the entire Central Asian region.
Upon accepting the award, the President of Kazakhstan expressed deep gratitude to the leadership and people of Uzbekistan. He expressed confidence in the consistent development of the spirit of friendship and alliance between the two countries in the future.
