Meat prices in Uzbekistan's markets have risen sharply over the past month.

Meat prices in Uzbekistan markets have risen significantly over the past month. Zamin.uz reported on this matter.
According to official data provided by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the average price of meat products has increased by eight percent. This situation is directly affecting the population's standard of living and the state of food trade.
Data as of March 25 shows how meat prices are forming at the Eski Juva market in Tashkent, specifically in the Chorsu neighborhood. Wholesale prices for beef range from 75,000 to 108,000 soums.
Especially, rib cuts are priced between 75,000 and 800,000 soums, while brisket cuts range from 85,000 to 920,000 soums. The price of leg meat has reached between 900,000 and 110,000 soums.
At the same time, prices for frozen imported meat brought into the country range from 85,000 to 110,000 soums, remaining slightly higher than local meat. Due to increased demand for lamb, its prices have also risen, with the minimum starting at 85,000 soums and reaching a maximum of 110,000 soums.
Analysis of weekly and monthly dynamics shows that the lowest indicator for meat prices is close to seven percent, while the highest indicator has exceeded three percent. The overall growth rate during the month amounted to eight percent.
This situation is forcing farmers and traders to constantly stay informed about prices. It is clear that purchasing meat products has become somewhat difficult for the population, and additional measures by the state are expected to stabilize prices in the future.
