Water supply restrictions in Tashkent will start on March 30
The Tashkent City Water Supply Joint Stock Company conveyed important information to the city residents in its official statement. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Due to planned repair and technical maintenance work by the communal services brigades, cold water supply will be temporarily stopped or pressure is expected to decrease in several areas of the capital. These works are not just routine repairs but part of a large-scale preparation aimed at strengthening the water pipeline networks before the spring and summer seasons of next year.

The goal is to modernize the water system and proactively prevent potential problems in the future. Water supply restrictions will be implemented gradually from March 30 to May 12.

This process covers many neighborhoods and residential areas in the Uchtepa, Shaykhontohur, Yashnobod, Mirzo Ulugbek, Sergeli, Yakkasaray, Chilonzor, Olmazor, Yunusobod, Bektemir, Yangi Hayot, and Mirobod districts. According to the schedule, water supply will be stopped initially in the Uchtepa and Shaykhontohur districts.

In the next stages, water flow will slow down or pressure will decrease in the Yashnobod and Mirzo Ulugbek districts as well. Starting from the beginning of April, the work will move to the Yakkasaray, Chilonzor, and Sergeli areas.

The largest scale repair works will be carried out from April 6 to April 8. During this time, water supply will be restricted in many neighborhoods of the Mirzo Ulugbek, Yashnobod, Bektemir, Sergeli, Yangi Hayot, and Mirobod districts, as well as in social facilities such as schools and polyclinics.

In the following days, water shutdowns will continue in the Yunusobod, Chilonzor, and Olmazor districts. According to company representatives, water supply in all districts will return to full and stable condition by mid-May.

Residents are asked to prepare water reserves in advance and to understand the temporary inconveniences. These measures will serve to further improve water supply in the future.
