Today, due to the holiday, the workday will be shortened by one hour.

According to the Labor Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, shortening the working day on the eve of holidays is mandatory for all employers. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Under current legislation, the working day or shift preceding an official holiday must be reduced by at least one hour for all categories of employees. This rule applies not only to government institutions but also to employees working in private companies and organizations.
Tomorrow, our country will celebrate the first day of the sacred Eid al-Adha holiday. In this regard, today is considered a pre-holiday working day for all labor collectives.
Thus, every employee performing their duties today has the legal right to leave work one hour earlier than the scheduled time. This procedure is established to allow employees to prepare appropriately for the holiday and spend more time with their families.
It should be specifically emphasized that reducing the working day by one hour does not negatively affect employees' wages. That is, even though working hours are reduced, salaries are paid in full.
Employers are required to strictly comply with this legal requirement. If the nature of work in a company or organization is continuous and it is not possible to shorten the working day, then employees must be paid additional compensation for this time or be granted a day off at another time.
We wish all our citizens productive work and a joyful holiday spirit throughout today's working day.
