Activities of state bodies in Uzbekistan are evaluated every two years

In Uzbekistan, an important step has been taken to bring the activities of state bodies to a new level of efficiency. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a special decree on the implementation of the Quality Public Administration Supplemental Program in cooperation with the United Arab Emirates. The document aims to fundamentally improve the quality of work in the public sector, and to organize management in a more transparent and results-oriented manner.
According to the new procedure, starting from 2026, the activities of all ministries, committees, agencies, and local government bodies will be subject to mandatory evaluation every two years. In this process, the extent to which bodies implement reforms, the conveniences created for citizens and entrepreneurs, and the quality of management will serve as key criteria.
This will clearly reflects the realistically show the actual results of each organization's work. Responsibility for the successful implementation of the program has been assigned to the Agency for Strategic Reforms and the Agency for Public Administration Efficiency.
These structures will be engaged in conducting a deep analysis of the activities of state bodies, developing evaluation criteria, and preparing proposals for system improvement based on final results. Thus, the principles of transparency and accountability in public service will be further strengthened.
It is important to note that the new system is not limited to mere oversight; it also includes a mechanism to incentivize teams that work effectively.
Special nominations and awards will be announced for bodies that successfully implement reforms and achieve high indicators. This will help foster a healthy competitive environment in public administration and reduce bureaucratic burdens.
This innovation will enable the evaluation of state bodies' activities not just as a process, but based on clear and measurable outcomes. As a result, the responsibility of public servants will increase, the quality of interaction with the people will improve, and the overall pace of the country's development will accelerate.
Now, the activities of state bodies will be measured not by numbers in reports, but by positive changes in people's lives.
