How many new pensions did Uzbekistanis receive in January?

The Uzbekistan Pension Fund provided information on how many citizens were assigned new pensions in January 2025.

According to official data, as of February 1, a total of 26,365 citizens were assigned new pensions.

Of these:
Old-age pension – 19,998 people;
Disability pension – 4,558 people;
Pension for those who lost their breadwinner – 1,809 families.

Additionally, starting from March 1, the pension assignment procedure in Uzbekistan will change. From now on, citizens who reach retirement age will automatically be assigned pensions without the need to submit documents.

Furthermore, citizens will have the right to delay receiving their pension at their discretion or, if they are dissatisfied with the amount of the assigned pension, to stop the automatic assignment process.
