According to seismic data, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers and had a magnitude of 4 at the epicenter. The impact of this earthquake was relatively weak in other regions of Uzbekistan, being felt at a level of 2 in the cities of Gazli and the districts of Qorako‘l and Peshku.
This is not considered a strong earthquake, but some citizens felt it. During the earthquake, residents living in various areas of Bukhara region became alarmed.
Reports circulated on social media about some citizens temporarily leaving their homes. Some videos recorded swaying hanging lights and faint sounds.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations stated that there is currently no information about material damage or casualties. At the same time, preventive measures are planned to be carried out to reduce public anxiety.
