In Uzbekistan, the social standards for electricity and gas consumption may be changed depending on weather conditions, as stipulated in the "Cabinet" decision.
According to the document, the Ministry of Energy has the right to change the validity periods of the main standards for the consumption of energy resources in accordance with the air temperature, in agreement with the government. These changes may apply to both the heating season and other periods.
Additionally, the Ministry of Energy, "Hududgazta'minot," and "Regional Electric Networks" are required to publish information about these changes on their official websites and in the media.
It is noted that the government extended the main standard for gas consumption from March 1 to April 1 due to the forecasted cold weather.
