The plane with 257 passengers returned due to the pilot

On March 22, a United Airlines flight from Los Angeles to Shanghai turned around in the air and returned. The reason was that one of the pilots forgot his passport at home, according to Nova24.uz citing CNN.
According to reports, there were 257 passengers and 13 crew members on board the plane. Two hours after takeoff, the plane returned to San Francisco.
“The pilot did not have his passport. We organized a new crew and delivered our customers to their destinations on the same day. Passengers were given vouchers for meals and compensation,” the airline stated.
Four hours later, a new crew from San Francisco continued the flight, arriving in Shanghai approximately six hours late.
