Leading European countries are working on creating a new protection mechanism to strengthen Ukraine's security and guarantee its future. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This system is similar to NATO's Article 5 and operates on the principle of collective defense. If Russia attacks Ukraine once again, Western countries will hold an emergency meeting within 24 hours.
At this meeting, a final decision will be made on whether to provide military assistance to Ukraine or not. Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni is considered one of the main proponents of this initiative.
According to sources, the new mechanism will not only ensure Ukraine's security but also serve to strengthen Europe's geopolitical stability. According to the plan, within the framework of the new system, Ukraine will receive rapid and long-term defense assistance, economic aid, and economic stability will be maintained.
Additionally, the Ukrainian army will be reinforced with additional weapons and necessary resources. New economic sanctions against Russia are also envisaged.
Thus, European leaders are seriously considering creating a NATO-like protection mechanism to ensure Ukraine's security. This initiative will provide additional protection for Ukraine and is an important step towards strengthening stability and security in the region.
