Mountaineers stranded at 4000 meters rescued
Two German mountaineers stranded at an altitude of 4000 meters in the Swiss Alps were forced to wait for help for a full day. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Their rope was stuck on the mountainside, and due to bad weather conditions, Swiss rescuers attempted to assist several times but were unsuccessful. Later, Italian rescuers carried out the operation with the help of a special helicopter and managed to safely bring the mountaineers down.

Their condition was assessed as satisfactory. This incident occurred on Mount Breithorn, located on the border between Italy and Switzerland, so the rescue operation was conducted by the Italians.

The rescuers continued their work with determination despite the difficult conditions and saved lives. Currently, the mountaineers have undergone medical examination, and it has been reported that their overall condition is good.

This event once again confirmed the importance of safety and prompt assistance in mountain sports. The rescue team performed their duties with high professionalism and succeeded in saving lives.
