Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko revealed information that was discussed within the Russian leadership and could cause a major scandal. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to him, some individuals proposed striking the office of the Ukrainian president located in the center of Kyiv with the "Oreshnik" missile in Russia. This office is situated on Bankova Street.
Lukashenko emphasized that Russian President Vladimir Putin firmly rejected this proposal. He stated that if a strike were carried out with the "Oreshnik," nothing would remain of the decision-making centers.
Putin did not approve such an action. Additionally, Lukashenko announced plans to deploy "Oreshnik" missile complexes on Belarusian territory by the end of 2025.
The "Oreshnik" is a medium-range ballistic missile with a maximum flight range of 5,500 kilometers. The missile can travel at a speed of 12,400 kilometers per hour and is capable of carrying a nuclear warhead weighing up to 900 kilograms.
This information is expected to provoke serious discussions on the international stage, as the use of missiles with nuclear capabilities or related considerations pose a significant threat to peace. Therefore, Putin's rejection of this proposal is regarded as an important political decision.
