The number of civilian casualties in Gaza is increasing
According to The Guardian, information provided by Israeli military intelligence shows that the situation in Gaza is very severe and tragic. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Based on the data, approximately 8,900 people affiliated with HAMAS and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad groups have been killed or gone missing as a result of armed clashes that have lasted for 19 months. Nevertheless, the total number of casualties is much higher, with 53,000 Palestinians reported to have lost their lives.

From this figure, it has been determined that only 17 percent of the victims are militants, while the remaining 83 percent are civilians. This situation warns that the greatest harm in the war occurring in the Gaza area is being inflicted on ordinary citizens.

Vulnerable groups such as women, children, and the elderly have also become victims of the armed clashes, causing significant concern for society. The Israeli military intelligence data is considered official and reliable because the number of militants is clearly defined, and the many other casualties are shown to be civilians unrelated to the war.

Officials emphasize that this information should be taken as a serious signal by the international community. Ensuring the safety of civilians must be the primary task in any armed conflict.

Unfortunately, the events occurring in Gaza show that this principle has been significantly abandoned. Therefore, the international community and leaders need to pay special attention to this issue.
