Elon Musk and his company xAI have filed a lawsuit against Apple and OpenAI. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
In this lawsuit, they are accused of engaging in collusion practices to limit competition in the artificial intelligence market. One of Musk's main claims is that Apple does not showcase its Grok chatbot on the App Store.
The reason given is that the company has an exclusive contract with OpenAI and only promotes the ChatGPT service. Elon Musk and his xAI company accuse Apple and OpenAI of maintaining their monopolies and restricting the entry of new innovative companies into the market.
According to him, such actions do not provide users with broad choices in the field of artificial intelligence and hinder the development of new projects. At the same time, the Grok chatbot is intended only for users of Musk's social platform X, and the necessary conditions for its effective operation must be created.
However, Apple limits this with its contracts. Elon Musk is one of the founders of OpenAI but left the organization in 2018.
In 2023, he established a new company called xAI with the goal of presenting new projects in the field of artificial intelligence similar to ChatGPT.
As a result, the Grok chatbot was launched on the xAI platform, serving users of the X social network.
Musk's claims are expected to intensify competition in the artificial intelligence sector. The fight against monopolies among international technology companies is an important factor for new projects and technological progress.
Additionally, the connection between Musk's personal interests and overall development is becoming a central topic in discussions about the future of artificial intelligence and its impact on society. These processes will clearly define how competition and innovations will shape in the future.
