
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping met in Beijing to discuss relations between the two countries. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Putin emphasized that the relations have reached an unprecedented level, while Xi stated that China-Russia cooperation is withstanding international changes. The meeting took place ahead of a major military parade in China.
This parade is being held to mark the 80th anniversary of Japan's surrender following the end of World War II. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un was also invited to the parade.
The two leaders criticized Western countries. Xi condemned the aggression of certain countries, while Putin justified Russia's actions in Ukraine and blamed the West for the conflict.
At the same time, Beijing maintains a neutral position with Moscow. Despite the US and its allies accusing China of assisting Russia, Beijing denies this.
It was emphasized that the meeting aimed to further strengthen strategic cooperation between the two countries. This event holds significant importance in international politics and may impact regional stability.
