Trump demanded the immediate release of hostages from HAMAS
US President Donald Trump has firmly demanded the immediate release of 20 Israelis taken hostage by the Palestinian HAMAS movement. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

He personally made a statement about this on the social network Truth Social. According to Trump, HAMAS must release all hostages without delay, otherwise the situation will change drastically and the war will end.

It should be recalled that on March 18, the Israeli army resumed combat operations in the Gaza Strip and delivered heavy strikes to the enclave territory. These actions officially constitute a breach of the ceasefire agreement announced in January.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, explaining the purpose of the operation, emphasized that the decision was due to the rejection by the Palestinian HAMAS movement of proposals made through intermediaries and the US President's special envoy Steven Witkoff. According to Netanyahu, the main goal of the military actions was to free all hostages.

HAMAS, in turn, blamed Israel and the US for the resumption of combat operations. This situation is further complicating the regional situation.
