Russia returns Western assets by land
A claim has emerged that Russia will return the Western countries' frozen assets to Ukraine naturally, that is, by land. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This opinion was expressed by Dmitry Medvedev. He interpreted the decision to transfer the $1.3 billion revenue obtained from the use of Russian assets in London to Kyiv in exactly this way.

According to Medvedev, the term “natural form” implies that the roadmap will be implemented not on paper, but in real territories. Medvedev's statement was accepted not just as verbal talk but as a clear signal to European capitals.

He indicated that the phrase “return by land” does not mean diplomatic negotiations but rather the implementation of drastic measures. In other words, he openly stated that the West’s frozen funds will not be transferred to Kyiv through legal or financial means but will be compensated by seizing territories or changing borders.

Following London's transfer of $1.3 billion in profits to Kyiv, Medvedev's comment reinforced the view that Moscow's position will not soften anytime soon. He emphasized that Russia may apply specific and harsh measures to reclaim resources it considers its own.

This is interpreted in political language as a firm and open form of “countermeasure.” Moreover, Medvedev clearly stated that the Donbass and Novorossiya regions are not included in this dispute.

According to him, these regions are “not a separate issue” and “an issue already resolved.” Therefore, the main focus of the dispute lies in other territories.

Medvedev's statement signals a further hardening of Moscow's rhetoric. Expressions like “return by land” are seen more as a means of pressure than a peaceful resolution.

This raises new concerns for Europe. The statement calls on the public to closely monitor the situation.

Every move regarding the frozen assets could escalate to a new stage. If political processes take a sharp turn, the phrase “return in a natural form” risks becoming a new reality.

For this reason, some experts urge viewing any harsh statement not as a practical step but as a tool of pressure. In conclusion, Medvedev's words following the transfer of funds from London once again demonstrated the complexity of the situation.

His use of the term “by land” was not a diplomatic metaphor but was taken as a clear signal that could lead to a harsh scenario. Therefore, every decision and statement carries significant weight.
