13 tons of cocaine seized in Almaty
A unique event occurred in Almaty. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The National Security Committee seized more than 13 tons of cocaine. This is the largest quantity of narcotics ever detected in Kazakhstan.

According to the information, this drug was planned to be transported through the country’s territory as transit to other states. As a result of the special services' prompt actions, the delivery route was immediately stopped.

Within the framework of the operation, two foreign nationals suspected of organizing international drug trafficking were detained. They are currently in custody awaiting further investigation.

This operation is considered an important achievement in the fight against transnational crime. This incident once again demonstrated the readiness of state agencies to act decisively and swiftly to ensure regional security.

Such large-scale operations are of great importance in strengthening security in our territory.
