According to police information, an 85-year-old man fell into a corn shredder combine harvester and died at the scene due to severe injuries. At the time of the incident, the equipment was being operated by a 39-year-old farmer.
He had been cleaning the cornfield since the morning. During this time, the elderly man went unnoticed inside the straw and was pulled into the combine harvester without it stopping.
Rescue and medical personnel arrived at the scene immediately after the incident, but despite all their efforts, it was impossible to save the elderly man's life. Experts once again emphasize the necessity of strictly adhering to safety rules in agriculture.
