Narendra Modi and the Crown Prince of Dubai discussed India-UAE cooperation
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with the Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum. Sheikh Hamdan was on an official visit to Delhi. The leaders discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation and a shared vision for the future.

Tuesday was a significant day for India-UAE relations: Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE, arrived in India for a two-day visit. This was his first official visit to India as the Crown Prince of Dubai. He was accompanied by a delegation of ministers, senior government officials, and high-level entrepreneurs.

During the meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Sheikh Hamdan emphasized the importance of strengthening ties between the two countries and stated that India-UAE relations are based on trust and aimed at creating a future filled with opportunities, innovations, and prosperity. He added in his social media post that this visit would strengthen strategic cooperation and pave the way for closer collaboration in the future.

Prime Minister Modi also expressed his satisfaction with the meeting with the Crown Prince of Dubai, highlighting that Dubai has played a key role in developing the comprehensive strategic partnership between India and the UAE. This visit reaffirms the deep friendship between the two countries and lays the foundation for further strengthening bilateral relations.

During the visit, special respect and honor were shown to Sheikh Hamdan, and during a working lunch with the Prime Minister of India, opportunities for further developing cooperation between the two countries were discussed, including in the fields of economy, energy, and finance.

Sheikh Hamdan's visit will also include a trip to Mumbai, where he will participate in a business roundtable with Indian and Emirati entrepreneurs. The main goal of the exhibition is to expand trade and investments in infrastructure, energy, fintech, sustainability, and innovations. The primary aim of this event is to strengthen economic ties and deepen trade cooperation.

Dubai continues to be an important center for cultural and trade relations between India and the UAE, with over 4.3 million Indians living in the UAE, most of whom reside in Dubai. Official diplomatic relations between India and the UAE were established in 1972, and since then, cooperation between the two countries has been developing in all areas, especially following Prime Minister Modi's historic visit to the Emirates in 2015.
