Nine million people held protests against Trump in the US

The political situation in the United States has intensified, and large-scale protests have begun across the country. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Last weekend, unprecedented demonstrations were held against the policies of White House leader Donald Trump and his administration. According to various sources, nearly nine million citizens participated in these protests.
The main reasons for bringing people to the streets were the president's decisions, the sharp rise in living costs, and the strict measures of the immigration service. The protesters raised their voices against autocracy with the slogan "No to Kings," emphasizing that power belongs not to billionaires but to ordinary people.
The protest movement was not limited to the National Mall and the Lincoln Memorial in Washington. Demonstrations also took place in major world capitals such as New York, Paris, and London.
Thousands of people gathered at the famous Times Square in New York, among them the well-known actor Robert De Niro. He criticized Trump and stressed the need for peaceful resistance.
In response, the president mocked the actor and questioned his intelligence. In January of this year, the shooting deaths of two Americans by immigration officers further fueled public anger.
After returning to power in 2025, Trump attempted to expand his powers and deployed National Guard troops to cities despite governors' objections. He calls his actions crisis management and says, "I am not a king."
However, political analysts and constitutional defenders warn that American democracy is under serious threat. In your opinion, will the protests of millions of people urge the president to change his policies, or is a new era beginning in America?
