The South Korean Hanshin Corporation has been declared the winner of the tender to build a pharmaceutical cluster in Uzbekistan, Kursiv.media reported.
The project will be located in the southwestern region of Tashkent city. The total cost is 70.2 billion won ($47.2 million), of which 38.6 billion won ($26 million) will be directly financed by Hanshin.
Hanshin was established in 1950 and is engaged in the construction of residential and industrial facilities in South Korea and other countries.
It should be noted that in April of this year, South Korea sent an official delegation to support participation in tenders in Uzbekistan.
