
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran has arrested eight individuals suspected of attempting to disclose state secrets. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to Tasnim news agency, the arrested individuals tried to deliver coordinates of secret facilities and information about high-ranking military officials to the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad.
They are accused of transmitting information to intelligence agencies during a period of heightened tensions between Iran and Israel. According to reports, the suspects were remotely trained by Mossad and were apprehended in northeastern Iran before carrying out their plans.
During the investigation of those arrested, materials necessary for bomb-making, explosives, and trap devices were found. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps described these arrests as measures taken to prevent threats to national security.
Investigations are currently ongoing.
