Trump called for a quick end to the war in Gaza

US President Donald Trump called for accelerating negotiations to stop the war in Gaza. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

On Monday, indirect peace talks between Hamas and Israel are expected to begin in Cairo, the capital of Egypt. These talks are considered an important step towards ending the two-year war in Gaza.

Hamas has accepted some parts of the 20-point plan proposed by the US but has not reached an agreement on disarmament and governance of Gaza. President Trump emphasized that the negotiations are progressing effectively and urged not to waste time.

Meanwhile, Israeli airstrikes continue. According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, 65 people have died in the last 24 hours.

Delegations from Hamas and Israel are preparing for the talks to be held in Cairo, and this process is considered crucial in stopping the war.
