“Lock the doors and stay away from the windows,” the announcement stated.

Law enforcement agencies, including FBI personnel, are working at the scene. The suspect has been apprehended.

Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare confirmed that they are receiving the injured, but no specific details have been disclosed.

One student said they were in shock after hearing about the shooting:
“I had friends among those evacuated with their hands raised,” they recalled.

One university staff member reported hearing gunshots and seeing people fleeing.

U.S. President Donald Trump also stated through a statement that he is aware of the incident.
