A pregnant woman living in North Carolina, USA, noticed a strange symptom in her health and turned to artificial intelligence — ChatGPT. The advice she received not only saved her life but also the life of her unborn child, according to the source Motherly, referenced by “Pravila jizni”.
Nataliya Terriyen was in the last — eighth month of her pregnancy. One day, she suddenly felt her jaw muscles tighten and was unable to open her mouth. Considering the situation not serious, she asked ChatGPT: “Why can’t I move my jaw?”
In response, ChatGPT recommended checking her blood pressure. Nataliya followed this advice without haste — the result was astonishing: her blood pressure was significantly high, prompting the artificial intelligence to urgently advise her to call for emergency help.
At the hospital, the situation was assessed as very dangerous — the woman’s blood pressure had risen to 200/146. Doctors decided to deliver the baby prematurely to resolve the situation without delay. If Terriyen had gone to sleep that night, doctors believed she could have suddenly lost consciousness or not woken up.
Currently, both mother and baby are healthy, and everything turned out well.
Nataliya shared this incident on Instagram. Her post “ChatGPT saved my life” was seen by millions of people, widely shared on social media, and supported with hundreds of thousands of likes.
