The first factory producing illegal weight loss drugs in the city of Notempton has been identified and completely shut down. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This operation was carried out by the British Health Products Agency and was recorded as the largest illegal drug seizure worldwide. Tens of thousands of chemical raw materials and over 2,000 unlicensed weight loss drugs named Retatrutide and Tirzepatide, which were about to be delivered to customers, were found at the factory.
Experts emphasize that these drugs have not been tested, are dangerous, and pose a serious threat to human health. According to Andy Morling, head of the anti-crime department, stopping the network saved thousands of lives from danger.
He stressed that although illegal products generate significant profits in the global market, they are hazardous to health. Government officials described this as an "important victory against criminals who put people's lives at risk."
Experts advise the public to be more cautious when purchasing drugs online and to obtain medicines only from registered pharmacies. Officials warn that drugs taken without a doctor's recommendation pose a great risk to health.
Therefore, it is important to take medications only under the supervision of qualified specialists. To protect people's health, it is necessary to use legally approved medicines.
