From 2026, the "Uzaviatsiya" agency will operate without funds allocated from the state budget. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This decision was approved by a presidential decree aimed at renewing the management system in the aviation sector. Additionally, from the end of 2025, the practice of transferring 20 percent of the net profit of the "Uzaeronavigation" enterprise to the agency's development fund will be discontinued.
From now on, these funds will remain entirely under the enterprise's control. The government has set clear goals for the development of aviation until 2030.
According to the plan, within five years, the passenger flow will reach 24 million people. The number of domestic and international flights will increase by 200 thousand.
Furthermore, the fleet of Uzbek airlines will be expanded with 180 new aircraft. These measures are aimed at ensuring the sustainable development of the country's aviation.
