
Iran is strengthening cooperation with Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to "The Jerusalem Post," Tehran is increasing its activity in foreign policy and expanding diplomatic relations with other countries. Within this process, Iran and Uzbekistan have reached an agreement to develop cooperation in the mining industry.
This agreement was signed during the visit of a delegation led by Iran's Minister of Industry, Mines, and Trade, Mohammad Atabak, to Uzbekistan. During the meeting, the parties also discussed opportunities to attract investments in the sector.
The visit of Iranian representatives to Tashkent took place on November 9. According to information, Tehran is paying more attention to diplomatic relations against the backdrop of escalating tensions with Israel and the possibility of resuming negotiations with the United States.
Additionally, Iranian and Russian ambassadors discussed the elections in Iraq. Furthermore, Iran's deputy minister held a meeting with the advisor to the President of the United Arab Emirates.
