Kosovo and Switzerland played a draw, achieved their goal
The match between the Kosovo and Switzerland national teams took place in the city of Prishtina and ended in a 1:1 draw. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This result allowed the Switzerland national team to maintain first place in the group and secure a direct qualification for the 2026 World Cup. Kosovo took second place and earned the right to participate in the playoff stage.

From the start of the game, the teams played cautiously. Although Switzerland controlled the ball more, they did not rush to create dangerous attacking situations.

The visitors circulated the ball through Xhaka and the defenders, showing a safe style of play. Kosovo tried to organize attacks from the wings through Muslia and Vojvoda, but failed to create serious chances in the first half.

The most memorable moment of the first half was Ebischer's shot, but goalkeeper Muric saved his team. Near the break, Kosovo targeted the goal with a shot from Khoja, but goalkeeper Kobel comfortably caught the ball.

Thus, the first half ended goalless. The game came alive at the beginning of the second half.

In the 47th minute, Switzerland took advantage of a mistake on the wing. Sou received the ball in the center and passed it to Vargas.

Vargas struck from the penalty area and opened the scoring. After that, Kosovo began to play more offensively.

They increased pressure on the opponent's penalty area and intensified attacks from the left wing. Muslia and Galape were regularly stopped by goalkeeper Kobel.

In the 74th minute, Kosovo achieved their goal. Muslia received the ball outside the penalty area, moved towards the center, and sent a precise shot to the far corner.

This shot equalized the score. In the remaining time, Kosovo tried to secure a victory, but Switzerland's defense stood firm and preserved the draw.

Thus, Switzerland secured first place in the group and qualified for the World Cup. Kosovo will participate in the playoff stage to be held in spring.

Match result: Kosovo — Switzerland 1:1.
